NOW WHAT?

One of the fundamental lessons that we teach at the New Life Bible Fellowship Church is that there are no bench members in the church.  There are so many ministries within the church that need volunteers and leaders.

Let's talk about what is expected of Ministry Leaders

COMMITMENT

  • Be good church members
  • Be faithful to the responsibilities you accept
  • Attend church worship service (Sunday School of Learning and Morning Worship)
  • Attend IHOP (Bible Study) and other scheduled meetings
  • Be diligent in the giving of tithes and offering
  • BE a soul winner - work on the evangelism team (outreach and witnessing)
  • Be loyal to the Pastor
  • Give your best efforts to church ministry

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SERVANT LEADERS

  1. Evidence of Salvation - John 3:16; John 10:9
  2. Good reputation (in and out of church) - Acts 6:1-7
  3. Attendance at Sunday/Church services - Hebrews 10:25
  4. Attendance at Bible study/School of Learning - 2 Timothy 2:15
  5. Prayer Life - Matthew 6:1-15
  6. Have a humble and forgiving spirit - James 4:10; 1 Peter 5:6; Matthew 18:15-17
  7. Support the vision and mission of the Church - Habakkuk 2:2-3
  8. Support the Pastor - Jeremiah 3:15; Ephesians 4:11
  9. Have a servant Heart - Luke 9:48; Philippians 2:3; Ephesians 4:15
  10. Be reliable, dependable, accountable - Acts 6:1-7
  11. Be financially committed (tithes and offering) - Proverbs 3:9; Malachi 3:7-12; Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 9:6-9; Proverbs 11:24-25
